This sculpture represents the impact of plants on soil fertility. The wooden drop symbolises the plants’ ability to retain mois- ture; the wooden sticks at the base represent the exchange of nutrients between plants and soil; the three clay discs symbol- ise the increase in fertility over time as a result of this process.
