Chair of Transitions
This sculptural chair reflects on the symbolic role such objects play in society: objects that often assert and reinforce social roles. Its form is inspired by Janus, the Roman god of transitions. By reinterpreting a mythological figure, the chair invites one to mo- mentarily embody its powers by sitting on it. It was exhibited at “Presque Demain” at Wilde le Lieu, curated by intersect, during the French Design Week 2025.
