Calice
This work was created during the Cavanei Cavanei art residency, organised by APUA. It reflects on the dual role of death, both as an end and as a creator of life, an essential force for sustaining life in a constantly changing world. Along the stem of the sculpture there are three wombs, small clay coins decorated with micobial forms. At the top there is a chalice filled with seeds.
